Feeling nostalgic, I pulled out an old book of mine. It’s a book of poems and one of my favorites. It’s called, Where the Sidewalk Ends, by Shel Silverstein. I remember in grade school, just about every kid had memorized the Sick poem from this book. “I cannot go to school today, said little Peggy Ann McKay.” It’s such a fun poem. Every poem in the book is super fun. But there is one in particular that still cracks me up every time I read it. Here it is…
HAT Teddy said it was a hat, So I put it on. Now Dad is saying, "Where the heck's the toilet plunger gone?"
It’s short and sweet and fills my imagination with hilarity. Timeless! I’ve had this book for almost 41 years. I’ll never let it go.

Happy Mother’s Day!!!
