I had a dream last night, one of my reoccurring dreams, that I was having problems getting my contacts in my eyes. Sounds pretty normal, right? Except for the fact that my contacts are the size of saucers. HUGE! And it doesn’t matter how I try to insert them, even try folding them, they just won’t go in my eyes. It always begins with me thinking, WHOA, these are waaay too big. But I’m determined to put them in anyway. I’d go through many failed attempts and then I wake up. So, what’s up with that?

I used to be really interested in dream interpretation once upon a time so I consulted a couple of my old books. General meanings about eyes in dreams focuses on spiritual development, judgement, self-awareness, intuition, or acknowledgement.

Then I googled Dream Interpretation – Large Contact Lenses. First, let me note this was actually easy to search for. Apparently, there are a lot of people out there with similar dreams. Phew! Unfortunately, I had to wade through a lot of fortune teller explanations. But remove all of that extra hoopla, to put it simply, all fingers point to having issues or obstacles with what I mentioned: spiritual development, judgement, self-awareness, intuition, or acknowledgement.

Since we’re still in the midst of a pandemic and I’m still stuck at home slowly going cuckoo, there’s no need to delve further into my psyche. My answer is “yep, all of the above”. Mystery solved.
