Today is one of those fall days I’m happy to be inside. It’s cloudy and cool and the wind is blowing around kicking up a whole lot of allergies. Blah. Look at all of these little yellow leaves in our yard and driveway. They are from our neighbor’s tree and they’ve only just started falling. These fricken leaves get tracked throughout our house every year. It doesn’t matter how much I vacuum, we’ll still find them, even in January. It’s a beautiful tree. But when I look up and see how it’s still so full of those leaves ready to fall, I mentally give it the finger. I’m not ready for Jen vs. Leaves yet. I want to put a giant shower cap over the top of it. It would be a golden yellow one so our neighbor wouldn’t notice. Shhhhh. I won’t tell if you don’t.
